Free Trial Period : You can use the service for up to three
months free to view and pay one bill. At the conclusion of the
trial period, or if you set up more than one payee, you will automatically
be promoted to the Total Bill Management plan you selected during
sign up. No ATM card is available during the free trial
period. All requested documents and set up fees must be received
before any bill is paid.
Price/Month: You are billed on a monthly basis depending
on your level of service. Your month fee, plus any additional
charges from prior month will be automatically deducted each month
from your primary payment account.
Active/Inactive Payees: You are able to maintain as many
payees within the system as you want with either an active status
or inactive status. If you do not make any payments or receive
any bills for a particular payee within a specific month, you
can mark the payee as inactive. If a payment is made, or a bill
is received for a payee marked as inactive, the payee will automatically
be switched to an active status.
Additional Transactions/Month: Depending on your service
level, you are allowed a certain number of transactions per month.
There will be an extra charge for each transactions over this
limit. If you use more than one transaction for the "FREE Trial
Period " Service, you will automatically be upgraded to the Check101.com
Standard service level.
EmailAlerts: EmailAlerts are e-mail notifications that
inform you of specific billing events which you choose to receive:
- upon bill receipt
- prior to when payment
is due
- after payment has
been made
- when an expected
bill has not been received
You can choose to turn
each of these notifications on or off for each payee.
Automatic and Recurring
Payments: You can pre-authorize payments to specific payees
using these two features: Apply the Automatic Payment feature
to any payee for which Check101.com receives a bill. With Check101.com
Auto-Pay, you can establish rules that determine when and how
much to pay a specific payee, depending upon the details of the
bill received. For example, you can set up a rule that specifies:
"If my Visa bill is less than $300, pay the full amount; otherwise,
pay $300". Use the Recurring Payment feature for those
bills that are paid on a regular schedule and are the same amount
each time (i.e., car payment or mortgage).

Platinum Customer Support: (Platinum Customers Only)
- Reminders
- Even though you may have received an e-mail message alerting
you to the fact you have an upcoming payment due, you may have
forgotten to authorize the payment. As a Platinum customer,
customer support will attempt to contact you personally a few
days before a bill becomes overdue.
- Missing Bill Research
- With Check101.com, if a bill is not received by the expected
date, we will proactively contact the payee to determine the
cause for delay, and if necessary, request a new bill be provided.
- Missing Payment
Research - Let's face it, payees are not always on time
when it comes to posting payments to their customer's accounts.
This delay can result in the next bill reflecting a "no payment"
message along with potential late fees. Check101.com will proactively
research these situations and notify you if there are any problems.
We will work with the payee to have any unwarranted finance
or late charges reversed.
Multiple Payment
Source: With this option you can pay bills using funds from
multiple financial institutions and/or credit/debit cards. Simply
provide us with the routing and account numbers for each account
you want to use, then with each payment specify the account from
which to pay. Please note that the financial institutions you
provide must support the ability to transfer funds electronically.
Historical Data:
Your bill details can be viewed for the time specified, depending
on your service level. After this time, your bill details are
electronically archived.
Year-end CD: ($49.50/year, $24.95 for each additional copy) The
year-end CD provides you with a copy of all your records for a
given year, saved on a compact disc(CD), which is yours to keep
for your records. We include the following on the CD:
- an easy-to-use viewer
- copy of all your
bills processed over the past year
- copy of each payment
made over the past year.
Electronic Archive
Retrieval: If you ever need a copy of a bill that is no longer
online and has been moved into our archives, you can request a
copy in the archives section of your account. We will retrieve
a copy of the bill and e-mail it back to you within 2 business
days of receiving the request.
Hardcopy Storage & Retrieval: For bills that we receive
in traditional hardcopy format, you can choose to have us store
the hardcopies of those bills for up to 7 years. To request a
copy of the bill or to have the original hardcopy sent to you,
simply e-mail customer support with the request.
Emergency Overnight Payments: (Platinum Customers Only)
For those times when you absolutely need to get a payment to someone
overnight, simply contact our customer support, and we will take
care of the details. We will charge you only for the cost of shipping.

a separate transaction.
